Monitoring


A big part of vehicle tracking is the monitoring service behind the tracking device. Our Secure Control Room team operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year monitoring vehicles to contact the customers in case of any emergency. In the unforeseen circumstance that your vehicle is stolen you can call our theft team, upon providing a crime reference number to our team, they will liaise with the police and our dedicated repatriations agents to locate and secure your vehicle. 


Global Telemetrics is ISO Certified for data protection including one of the latest ISO statuses 27701. 

Free GTE Track App

The GTE app offers real-time location tracking and notifications with every device. Device dependent features include: movement alerts, optional alarm integration and, geofences.

In-house Monitoring and Technical Support

All Global Telemetrics monitored devices benefit from our 24/7/365 monitoring services, no matter what day or what time one of our team will be on the end of a phone to assist any questions you may have.

Battery Disconnect and Low Battery warnings
If your battery is disconnected you will be contacted by our Secure Control Centre to make sure everything is ok. If your battery falls low you will receive a notification via our app to make you aware.
Movement Alerts* Device dependent
If your vehicle is moved without the ignition present (usually in a towing situation) you will be contacted by our Secure Control Centre to make sure everything is ok. You can also receive notifications for this event within our GTE app.

Vehicle Battery Disconnection

An alert will be generated to our team if the battery is disconnected from the vehicle or if the tracking device is being tampered with.

Low battery monitoring

An early warning indicator that your vehicle battery is running low so you can arrange for the battery to be charged.

Alarm Sounding Alerts
If your vehicle has an aftermarket alarm installed this can be connected to the tracking system and if your alarm sounds we will contact you.
Ignition off movement

Alerts you in the event of your vehicle being trailered or towed.

Driver recognition alerts

This helps protect your vehicle from key theft / key cloning. There are two options available: D-iD which connects to the tracker through an app on your mobile device and alerts you every time the vehicle is driven via push notification. Alternatively, our Driver Detection Card. The tracker scans via Bluetooth to see whether the card is present and switched on each time the vehicle moves. If a card is not detected an alert is generated to our Secure Control Centre and you will be contacted to confirm everything is ok.
