Thank you for choosing our Bluetooth Tag system. This device is designed to make your vehicle security seamless and convenient, working alongside your installed tracker to identify authorised drivers and automatically disarm alerts and the immobiliser (if fitted).
Automatic Driver Identification:
When you enter your vehicle with the tag, the tracker detects the tag’s Bluetooth signal and confirms your identity.
System Disarming:
If you are an authorised user, the system will automatically disarm alerts and the immobiliser (if fitted), allowing you to start and drive your vehicle as normal.
No Buttons or Apps Needed:
Simply keep the tag on your person. There’s no need to press buttons or use an app for daily operation.

Automatic BLE Signal:
The tag emits a secure Bluetooth signal every 2 seconds.
Sleep Mode:
If the tag is not moved for 5 minutes, it enters sleep mode to save battery. It will automatically wake up and start transmitting again when picked up or moved.
Long Battery Life:
Powered by a CR2032 coin cell battery, the tag typically lasts up to a year with normal use.
Encrypted Communication:
Your security Tag is protected with GTE-IntelliLink OTP encryption.
Q: What should I do if my vehicle doesn’t recognise the tag?
A: Make sure the tag is with your keys and inside the vehicle. If it hasn’t moved for a while, pick it up or shake it gently to wake it from sleep mode.
Q: Do I need to replace the battery?
A: The battery typically lasts up to a year. If you notice the tag is not being detected, contact support for battery (CR2032) replacement instructions.
Q: Can I use more than one Tag with my vehicle?
A: Yes, multiple tags can be assigned to your vehicle or account. Contact support if you need additional tags.
Q: Is my data secure?
A: Yes, all Bluetooth communication between the tag and tracker is encrypted for your security.
Q: What if I lose my Tag?
A: Contact support immediately so we can deactivate the lost tag and arrange a replacement.
Q: Does the Tag have a movement sensor?
A: Yes, the Tag will go to sleep after 5 minutes of no movement. Once the Tag is moved, it will wake from sleep.
Q: What if my Tag runs flat whilst in transit or away from home?
A: You can put the vehicle into Service Mode via GTE Track app.
Q: How do I know if my Tag battery is low?
A: We will notify you about the low battery via email and/or GTE Track app.
Q: How do I know if my Tag is ON or OFF?
A: There is a visible Blue LED, Press and Hold for 4 seconds = 1 Flash (ON), 3 Flashes (OFF).
Q: I have been sitting inside my vehicle with IGNITION OFF for a period of time but the tag is not detecting and allowing the vehicle to start?
A: Please ensure you cycle the IGNITION on the vehicle before attempting to start the vehicle.
