Global Telemetrics are responsible for the monitoring of a variety of Thatcham-approved S7 devices. Thatcham, formed in 1969, are a product research company that define the industry standards and benchmarks for vehicle security products. Thatcham categorises the products dependent on their features. The S7 device provides an affordable, insurance-recognised tracking device to aid in the protection of your vehicle. All S7 devices are monitored by the Global Telemetrics 24/7 365 days a year Secure Control Centre.
The GTE app offers real-time location tracking and notifications with every device. Device dependent features include: movement alerts, optional alarm integration, and geofences.
In-house Monitoring and Technical Support
All Global Telemetrics monitored devices benefit from our 24/7/365 monitoring services, no matter what day or what time one of our team will be on the end of a phone to assist with any questions you may have.
Immobilisation on our S5 device comes in 2 forms, either an S5+ which features remote immobilisation and can be switched on and off in a theft situation at police request, or our S5+ iMOB device where immobilisation is controlled via our Bluetooth Driver Detection card. If your card is not with the vehicle or switched off you car will remain immobilised even if the key is present.
If your battery is disconnected you will be contacted by our Secure Control Centre to make sure everything is okay. If your battery falls low you will receive a notification via our app to make you aware.
If your vehicle is moved without the ignition present (usually in a towing situation) you will be contacted by our Secure Control Centre to make sure everything is okay. You can also receive notifications for this event within our GTE app.

View the last recorded location of your vehicle or fleet, even switch between different mapping profiles Normal and Satellite.
If you have multiple vehicles you can scroll or search to find the one of interest. Next to every vehicle it will show the voltage, time and date of the last data connection
An easy way to view current and historical information from the tracking system. Information can be displayed into options, by list, or by the mapping screen. All data is controlled via a simple to use calendar widget.
Virtual perimeter around a selectable location; allowing an email to be sent if your vehicle enters or exits the requested area. For example, around a port which would then alert you to state that the vehicle was within the area and maybe going abroad.
Displays all of your vehicle data in one easy to use section. Data includes current location, last journey information and odometer information.
Some of our devices have the option to immobilise your vehicle, press a button within the app to immobilise/mobilise your vehicle.
Accessed through the vehicle Dashboard Temporarily disable your alerts if your vehicle is in the garage or being transported. Please note by activating service mode, all alerts, including push notifications and those received by the Global Telemetrics Control Centre, will be disabled for your specified time period. Time limit of up to 10 hours.
Unique to Global Telemetrics is our long-standing relationship with the longest running Auto-Crime Investigation Repatriations Team in the UK. An integral part of the Global Telemetrics family, our repatriations team are on-hand 24/7/365 to assist with any theft situations that may occur. Liaising directly with the police, our team is able to attend the locations provided by our tracking device quickly, to secure our customers’ stolen vehicles and wait with the vehicle until the police are able to attend. Our team significantly increases the chances of recovering a vehicle that has been stolen, as well offering a quick and swift response at all times.
